A tiny box in a bathroom cabinet

I had always been very curious what there was inside the box, but I had never had the guts to open it and see until that particular day. I was left alone at the huge house, with nothing to do. The whole family had gone to the church and I was supposed to tidy the kitchen, but I had a lot of time to do it so I did not worry about that very much. I opened the old bathroom cabinet and saw the little wooden box. I took it out of the cabinet and put it on the little wooden table. I opened it slowly, as if something dangerous was lurking inside. I saw something I had not expected to see. Stones, lots of colourful stones, all of them beautiful, tiny and big, heavy and light. There was a flat transparent pink and purple agate, an irregularly shaped fluorite, a green triangular amethyst and lots of ambers. I also saw obsidians in all possible shapes. I liked the snowflake obsidian best. I hesitated for a moment and then I put the stone in my pocket. Then, after a while, I heard somebody open the door and enter the house. I instinctively took the stone out of my pocket and put it into the box again. I closed the box and put it into the bathroom cabinet. It was my mother who had just entered the house. I could not let her catch me rummaging in her things!
